Resposibilities of Neighborhood Residents

Know your neighbors.

Exchange phone numbers, types of cars, and other pertinent information with your neighbors.

Let a trusted neighbor know when you are going to be away from home.

Make sure your home is secured.

Watch out for suspicious persons or cars.

Keep a log of what you see (including times and dates).

Keep your Neighborhoood Watch chair informed as to crime incidents that occur at your home or that you witness.
When in doubt, call 911

Remain calm and aware of everything around you

Observe the suspect as closely as possible

Call the police only when it is safe to do so. Identify your situation, location, name, and phone number
